When you find a really comfortable bra, which is at times difficult to fine, you will often times forget the fact that you are even wearing one.

However, on the other end of the scope, a poor fitting bra will drive you to crazy since it is so uncomfortable. The key here is being able to acknowledge the signs that you do have a bra problem. Statistics show that most women will often fail to recognize the signs that they have a bra problem. The first sign to look for in having problems with your bra is around your shoulders area.

The straps of your bra should provide only twenty percent of the total support of your bra. The other eighty percent of the bra's total support should be coming from the band that runs around the bottom of the bra. If you find yourself hunching forward, then the straps of your bra are doing too much of the work. Another clear sign that you are having bra problems is that you may have sore shoulders and even red marks when your remove the straps.

Remember, the support of your bra should be bottom up, not top down. The band that runs around the bottom of your bra can tell you a lot about the fit. Most women focus on the front of the bra, but a tell tale sign can actually be found in the back. The bra band should run horizontally around your body on the same plain, which means it should be in the same position on your body in the back as it is in the front.

Most women, however, will find the band rides up higher on the back. This is a sign that the bra does not fit, because the breasts are falling forward and pulling the bra up and over the shoulders. The cup size of your bra is another variable in getting a great fit, with the goal here being to have no spaces between the cup and breast. Many women get sucked into the idea of having a certain bra size, which is why it is important to never fixate on a stated size.

The sizes vary from brand to brand and your breasts actually will change both monthly and over time. If you find that you are spilling over the edge of the cup, then the size is too small. If you find there is space between the cup and your breast, then the size is too big. In generally, bigger busted women tend to wear cups that are too small, while smaller busted women will wear cups that are too big.

When you are going to be active, then you should wear a sports bra. You should do this without exception, because exercising is not a time to worry about the appearance of your bust line. Physical activity can do serious damage to your breasts and a sports bra is the way to overcome that. Finding the perfect bra is not easy, but you can do it, but do not just guess at the issues involved.
