 The average woman owns about six bras, but unfortunately, most of them probably are not the best fitting bras. According to a recent episode of Oprah, up to eighty five percent of all women do not wear the right brassiere.
Since it is time for spring cleaning, then let us all take this opportunity to sweep the cob webs from our lingerie drawer. The key to finding the perfect fitting bra is to get properly measured. Any lingerie store or bra department will gladly fit you free of charge. However, if you choose to fit yourself, be sure to measure using a flexible measuring tape while wearing either a non-padded bra that fits decently or without one at all.
Two measurements are necessary, the first being around the part of your ribcage that is directly underneath your breasts, which is your band size. The next measurement is around your breasts at their fullest point, which is probably at the nipple, for determining your bust size.
